Stir Fry Cafe

Anyone in Northeast TN that enjoys Asian or Sushi has visited a Stir Fry Cafe.  The Kingsport store is pretty good.  I arrived for lunch as the doors were opening, was seated immediately, but waited over 10 minutes to place my order.  That is the usual wait time when the restaurant is busy or not.  I think it's too long.  My spring roll appetizer was  very crispy and fresh, not greasy.  The duck sauce was not overly sweet.  I only got to enjoy half my spring roll, when my entree came out.  I ordered General Tsao's Chicken with fried rice.  The chicken was tasty, but soggy.  It was like trying to find a hidden treasure, digging out the chicken from the bowl, loaded down with onions and sauce.  The rice, on the other hand was very dry and lacked seasoning.  All in all, it was a good lunch, but not the best.  I recommend going to Stir Fry during dinner hours, not lunch, the prices are the same, but the portions are much heartier.

Welcome to My Restaurant Blog

I have decided to start blogging my own reviews of local restaurants and eateries.  I hope this will help others make better choices for lunches and dinners out.  Money is tight everywhere and I, personally, dislike spending good money that I've worked hard to get on mediocre food.
